The preschool program is offered on a quarterly bases. (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer). There are two courses to choose from each quarter. The days and times are listed below. For more specific dates, please see the current Recreation Guide.

Meet the Instructor-Miss Barbara
Barbara Haysom is proud to be a part of the lives of the area youth for 19 years. She has been involved in youth sports, youth and teen recreation, and Pre-K programs. She has been with the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District since 1996 at Weekes Park Community Center as a Pre-K instructor. By introducing creative learning opportunities to leave a lasting positive impression on children is what she strives for. She earned her ECE units at Chabot College as well as her general education.
