Hayward, CA (November 6, 2017) – The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (H.A.R.D.) is pleased to announce the acceptance of nominations for the Annual Board of Directors' Award for Distinguished Community Service during 2017.
The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District appreciates all of the individuals and organizations who provide important volunteer service to the District and the community and have honored these individuals and organizations with an award program since 1962.
The Awards are an opportunity for the Board to appreciate and formally recognize individuals and organizations whose efforts exhibit the District’s mission of providing high quality leisure facilities and/or programs to its residents on a voluntary basis. All members of the community are encouraged to nominate those for consideration who exemplify important volunteer service.
The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, December 8, 2017. Winners will be announced at the Board of Directors’ meeting on January 9, 2018 and recognized at the Annual Board of Directors' Awards Luncheon on Friday, January 26, 2018.
