Sulphur Creek Nature Center is a wildlife education and rehabilitation facility
whose mission is to promote the conservation of local environmental resources
by fostering an appreciation and understanding of the animals in the world around
us, and encouraging peaceful coexistence between people and native wildlife
by serving as a community resource for wildlife issues.
Open Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Animal Lending Library has animals that you can actually take home with you for one week. For the nominal fee of $15, you can borrow a guinea pig, rat, hamster, or mouse, together with a cage, food, bowl, water bottle, and care sheet. Check out an animal, and learn about the responsibilities of pet ownership.
