Unhaunted House & Carnival Tips:

  • If you have registered, pick up your passes at our will call tent, please bring a digital (or printed) copy of your receipt.
  • Please carpool if you have the opportunity, our parking lot is small and will fill quickly.  Many people park on D Street and walk down into Sulphur Creek. 
  • Bring a flash light for the walk to and from your car.
  • Feel free to bring your own snacks/dinner/or drinks especially if you have special dietary needs.  You may also purchase food from our Bat Bakery.
  • Guests have the option to touch some animals therefore we do not allow the consumption of food while inside the Unhaunted House.
Unhaunted House & Carnival FAQ’s

When can I go into the Unhaunted House? 

  • If registered, your pass denotes a half an hour entry period.  Please line up in the designated line sometime during that time period.  Lines form along the fence behind the orange traffic cones.  One side is for the time slot on the hour (i.e. 6:00, 7:00 etc.), the other is for the time slot on the half hour (i.e. 6:30, 7:30 etc.).
Is the Unhaunted House scary/what should I expect?

  • No, while it is dimly lit, the characters are friendly and no one will attempt to scare you. You will be guided through our Unhaunted House which is fully decorated. You will visit 6 friendly characters from the Land of Oz and each of them will have a different animal.
Can my child go in alone? 

  • If your child is 12 years or younger they must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Does everyone going in need a pass?

  • Everyone ages 3 and up needs a pass for the Unhaunted House, children under 3 are free.
How should we dress?

  • All individuals are welcome to come in costume or regular clothes.  Dress in layers, most of the event is outdoors and it can get chilly in the evening.
What else can we do there? 

You can visit our carnival!  There are free and ticketed activities.  Carnival Tickets are 50 cents each.

  • Free: Storytelling, Marshmallow roasting, Coloring Craft
  • Ticketed: Games (1 ticket per game, there are usually around 10 games),  Trick or Treat bag Craft (2 tickets per bag), Face Painting (2 tickets), Night Hike (2 tickets per person)
  • Food: Available for purchase at the Bat Bakery.  Food options include hot dog and chicken apple sausage meals, chips, drinks - coffee, hot chocolate, water, juice, soda, cookies, popcorn, and some other sweet treats.  You are welcome to bring your own food as well.
What forms of payment can I use to buy carnival tickets and how much are they?

  • Cash, Check, & Credit Cards.  Carnival Tickets: 50 cents each or 25 tickets for $10.

How long is the Night Hike/Storytelling & what times do they occur?

  • Night Hikes are about 30 minutes, Storytelling is about 15-20 minutes
Friday Night:  
  • Storytelling times: 6:30pm & 8:00pm
  • Night Hike times: 7:00pm & 8:00pm
Saturday Night
  • Storytelling times: 5:00pm & 7:30pm
  • Night Hike times:  6:00pm & 7:00pm
