Sulphur   Creek  Nature  Center  Master Plan

HARD is developing a Master Plan for Sulphur Creek Nature Center (SCNC) that will identify and prioritize much-needed improvements, from improved access to new recreation features.

Sulphur Creek Nature Center is a special place!

By bringing people and animals closer together animal rehabilation and education programs, SCNC strives to instill a sense responsibility for the welfare of our world.  SCNC offers recreational opportunities as well as educational programs for over 40,000 visitors of all ages every year, including school presentations and summer camps.

We need your input to develop the Sulphur Creek Nature Center Master Plan!

SCNC was awarded a $0.5 M Outdoor Environmental Education Foundation in 2018 that will fund a new outdoor classroom and other educational and interpretive improvements. Knowing that there are more improvements needed to make SCNC accessible and meaningful for all visitors, HARD will apply for a Proposition 68 Regional Park Program Grant for as much as $3M this year.

Your input will make SCNC a more special and welcoming for all ! Community participation will guide the Master Plan and is instrumental for an award of a Proposition 68 Grant.
