Ariana Kwon Ariana Kwon was Awarded the Monthly Volunteer Recognition Award for April 2013 for her volunteer service in the District’s youth dance classes at the Castro Valley Community Center, where she has volunteered for the past two years.

She choreographed all the tap, jazz and acrobatic routines for the May 4th recital, assisted with the dress rehearsal and picture day and performed in the recital herself. This year’s recital would not have been a success without her help.
Ariana has taken dance with the District’s program for over 11 years. Witnessing older students volunteer in the classroom, she decided to continue the tradition. Ariana is extremely helpful and dedicated. She shows a maturity and dedication to our program much past her years. Ariana is a role model in our community and is very deserving of the Monthly Volunteer Recognition Award.
