I don't believe there is a single pickleball court available to the public in all of Castro Valley. Is pickleball in HARD's master plan for Castro Valley?

I would like to suggest that as a partnership with parks and recreations that we implement a specific schedule for parents and youth family swim Monday through Sunday. Other Recreation facilities offers these times throughout the week.
It seems that the Hayward Plunge caters mostly to adults without children, other times are allotted for swim classes. However I feel that the pool is large enough to offer adult swim time, a swim class or two, and family swim time on one end on more than only one day of the week.

I would like to suggest that as a partnership with parks and recreations that we implement a specific schedule for parents and youth family swim Monday through Sunday. Other Recreation facilities offers these times throughout the week.
It seems that the Hayward Plunge caters mostly to adults without children, other times are allotted for swim classes. However I feel that the pool is large enough to offer adult swim time, a swim class or two, and family swim time on one end on more than only one day of the week.

I urge you all to take action on an opportunity to make the HARD enrollment system more equitable. One can enroll for classes at the HARD main office at 8:30 am a few weeks before classes start....

However, if you have a computer or smart phone, access to the internet, and are English-speaking, you are allowed to enroll 2.5 hours earlier than everyone else! That’s because at 6:00 am on the same day you can enroll online. This advantage means that spots in the popular classes, like children’s swimming lessons, are all taken by the time the main office opens, where residents could get help enrolling and can have access to a computer. We welcome a change so that the system can be more equitable in providing access to our public resources to all of our residents. I urge you all to look into a more equitable system to guarantee equal access to all!

The matter is the safety of our children who are playing in the park during different hours. There is a sidewalk present around the park for walking/exercising. It would be great if there were gutter cleaning service that would give Hayward seniors a special discount to clean their gutters before winter rains come.
